JONAH CRAB IS A COUSIN TO THE FAMOUS DUNGENESS CRAB!! It's one of the sweetest of the crab family! While stone crab claws get all the headlines, Jonah crab claws are delicious in their own right; they are very meaty, with a flaky texture and sweet flavor (hint: they're delicious).

HOW BIG JONAHS CRABS ARE? The average size of the Jonah is between 1 and 1.2 pounds each!! Which is almost the size of the smallest legal size of a lobster here in New England!! And our JUMBO CRABS get up to 1.5-1.7 pounds each!! Not bad for a crab!

So in an effort to simply think outside the box, my wife Viktoriya and I had been selling lobsters directly to the public locally all summer 2020. We had an amazing response from our community.

Honestly, at the end it was going far better than we had expected! And because we are bringing wild-caught, fresh off-the boat lobsters and crab harvested in the clean waters of the coast of Maine, we thought that selling at Farmers Markets would be a perfect fit!
